Colorado Women’s College reimagines future

(Feb. 24, 2015) The Colorado Women’s College has announced to its community that, as a result of declining interest in its current academic program, the college will be changing and reimagining how to continue to fulfill its mission to educate and empower women. HCC reintroduces “Let’s Talk” service

(Feb. 24, 2015) The Health and Counseling Center is pleased to announce that the “Let’s Talk” service, an informal and confidential drop-in counseling service at remote sites on campus, has been relaunched on campus. This is a program for students, staff and faculty to access brief counseling consultation away from the HCC. Please visit the HCC website to learn more about “Let’s Talk” and the various sites and times it is being held. Any questions about the program can be directed to Anand Desai,, staff psychologist and group/outreach coordinator in the HCC.

Gates Foundation grant supports innovations in childhood learning

Enterprise Risk Management tools now available online

(Feb. 17, 2015) Enterprise Risk Management tools are now available online. Please visit the compliance page to access an updated ERM liaison contact list. ERM liaisons serve as an initial point of contact for any questions or concerns regarding the compliance and monitoring of unit-specific laws and regulations. New master’s program in Sports Coaching

(Feb. 17, 2015) The Graduate School of Professional Psychology has added a master’s program in sports coaching; this is the only master’s level degree program in coaching offered in a school of psychology in the country.


Josef Korbel School Ranked No. 11 in the World

(Feb. 10, 2015) The Josef Korbel School of International Studies is ranked 11th in the world among master’s programs for policy careers in international relations. This is according to the January – February 2015 issue of Foreign Policy magazine.



Tuesday, Feb. 17, 5:30-7 p.m. – Campus Safety Center

(Feb. 10, 2015) In the ongoing effort to provide a safe campus for all community members, the Division of Campus Safety is bringing back the annual SafeWalk event.  These events involve members of Campus Safety, Facilities Management and other campus organizations walking the campus and making suggestions for improvements in the physical environment that could aid in crime prevention efforts. The walk will begin at the Campus Safety Center (2130 S. High St.) and all community members are encouraged to attend. Two University College programs rank on 2015 Best Online Programs list

(Feb. 3, 2015) The University College Bachelor of Arts Completion Program is ranked No. 27 in the nation on the 2015 list of best online bachelor’s programs, according to U.S. News & World Report. In addition, the Information and Communications Technology program comes in at No. 29 on the best online computer tech programs list. DU Center for Orthopaedic Biomechanics seeking participants for two studies involving knee ligament injury

(Feb. 3, 2015) Participation in either study involves a one-to-two-hour session at the DU Human Dynamics Lab (located within the Ritchie Center), where you will perform activities of daily living and/or muscle strength tests

Study one

If you are between 18 and 40 years old, have torn your anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and underwent surgical repair, and have since returned to a high level of activity (e.g., competitive sports, advanced skiing, rigorous physical exercise), please contact Dr. Michael Harris at for more information or if interested in participation.

Study two

If you are between 18 and 75 years old, have torn your anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) OR posterior cruciate ligament (PCL), and have not had the ligament repaired, please contact Dr. Adam Cyr at for more information or if interested in participation.
