HR liaisons get updates at Nov. 7 meeting
(Nov. 12, 2013) DU faculty and staff members can rely on their HR liaison as a communication link between the Human Resources department and their own department.
HR liaisons met Nov. 7 to get the latest updates on the merit program, well@du wellness program, plus payroll reminders and presentations on the University's sesquicentennial celebration plans and emergency management framework.
Your departmental HR liaison passes along information within your department, and to help in that process, here are some things shared in the Nov. 7 meeting that every faculty and staff member may find useful:
- Performance management – forms for the 2013-2014 plan year will be up on the system in the next couple of weeks.
- Athletics and Recreation reminds all faculty and staff about the DU Faculty/Staff/Retiree Appreciation Day Nov. 17; register by Nov. 13.
- Years of service decade recognition awards earned prior to the start of the program in August 2013 should all get distributed by the end of the year. If in 2013 you qualified for a service pin award (for 5 years of service, 10 years, 15, etc. in increments of five), but didn't pick yours up at the Faculty-Staff Appreciation Picnic, please contact HR at 303-871-7420.
