When was the last time you checked your emergency contacts list?

(Oct. 20, 2015) Human Resources offers this friendly reminder to make sure that you periodically check the emergency contact information all employees provide when they start work at DU. It’s easy to check: log on to PioneerWeb, go to the Employee tab and look under the Employee Information list for Emergency Contacts. You’ll see what is currently on file for you and instructions to update information as needed.

Performance management: complete your appraisals

If you have not yet completed the performance review either for yourself or your direct reports for the 2014-2015 cycle, please log in to Performance and complete the items located in the To Do section of the homepage. Performance management – Final due date is Oct. 2

(Sept. 22, 2015) Managers should be wrapping up their direct report’s appraisals in Performance this week and holding review meetings by the end of the month. If you have held your review meeting(s), don’t forget that both managers and employees need to log in to Performance to give final signoff on the appraisals. Leadership Academy information session

Thursday, Sept. 3, 3-4 p.m. – Mary Reed Building, duPont Room

(Sept. 1, 2015) The first-ever Leadership Academy, sponsored by HR’s People Development team, debuts this coming January. The Leadership Academy is a professional development program for staff and faculty with an emphasis on developing the leader from within. This seven-month program consists of monthly half-day sessions of learning modules, discussions and practical application of leadership principles with an emphasis on self-awareness. This program includes pre-and-post work, presentations from leadership experts across the country, powerful activities and open discussion, one-on-one coaching and a group project. Program is limited to 15 participants. Registration for the information session is via PioneerWeb, Employee tab, Professional & Career Development.
