DU at Denver Pridefest

(June 17, 2014) The Center for Multicultural Excellence is again coordinating efforts of a number of campus offices and organizations to host a DU booth at Denver’s Pridefest, Saturday and Sunday, June 21-22! Show your Pioneer Pride by stopping by, or even volunteering some time, at our DU booth (#K-06), located just north of the Denver Art Museum at Civic Park. Admission is free both days.

(May 6, 2014) Registration is still open for the 13th Annual Diversity Summit, May 8-10, 2014.
Register today for the 13th Annual Diversity Summit. For the first time, the 2014 summit will host an event open to the broader community on Thursday evening: a screening and discussion of the documentary American Promise. Friday, May 9 is the traditional summit day of engaging workshops, speakers and awards, and Saturday is the second annual Day of Action, bringing primary school students and their families to campus to learn about paths to higher education. fourth annual new beginnings spring pow wow

(May 6, 2014) The Native Student Alliance invites you to the annual Pow Wow celebrating Native American culture through dance, music, art and food. This year's Pow Wow will feature a 150th Sand Creek Special Honoring Blanket Ceremony.
Volunteer opportunities are also available; this is a great way to learn about Native American traditions and be behind the scenes of a Pow Wow, and you can log your hours in the 1864 Service Challenge.
