IT'S A DROUGHT. USE EVEN LESS.

(June 18, 2013) Summer is upon us and this is the second year in a row of below average snowpack and drier than normal conditions in our watersheds. Denver Water has declared a Stage 2 drought. DU Facilities is partnering with Denver Water's "Use Even Less" campaign to reduce water usage on campus. Please help in these efforts by limiting your personal water usage and reporting any leaks you may see on campus.

TEAR IT OUT! DONATE YOUR UNUSED NOTEBOOK PAPER

(June 4, 2013) Do you often have extra pages left in the back of your and your children's notebooks at the end of the school year? Tear It Out! is an organization that collects you unused notebook paper and distributes it to local schools in need. Look for the collection bins in most major classroom buildings on campus and all the residence halls.tear it out sign

There are three ways to donate:

  1. Tear out the unused paper and place it in the collection bin.
  2. Throw in the entire notebook (Tear It Out! will take out the used paper and shred it).
  3. Tear out the used paper, and throw the remaining unused notebook in the collection bin.
