Work-Study Positions

Work-Study is a need-based financial aid award that allows undergraduate and graduate students to work on-campus (or with an approved off-campus employer) to earn money to pay for college expenses. It is not a grant (you must work to earn it), and it is not a loan (you don't have to repay it). Students with Work-Study will have it as a part of their financial aid package.

You must have Work-Study as a part of your financial aid package to apply for any Work-Study position. In order to receive Work-Study, a student must:

• Submit the FAFSA by the priority deadline
• Request Work-Study on the FAFSA
• Demonstrate "financial need"

On-Campus, non-Work-Study Positions

All on-campus positions that do not require Work-Study are managed by Human Resources and are posted at www.dujobs.org. All students are eligible to apply for these positions.

Off-Campus Positions

The Office of Student Employment offers an online database of off-campus positions in the greater DU and Denver area. These positions are available to all students, regardless of financial need. To view currently posted positions, please visit the Student Employment Website.
