If your student has already started the process of applying for financial aid, he or she can check the status of the application by following the steps below. Not sure what you need to do to apply for aid? Review the Application Checklist!
Logging into PioneerWeb
All students who have applied for admission to the University of Denver have access to DU's student portal, PioneerWeb. Your student received his or her DU ID number in their "Financial Aid 101" email. After logging into PioneerWeb, your student should go to the Applicants tab.
Viewing Your Requirements
Throughout the application process, various requirements may be added to your student's account. When students log into PioneerWeb, they will see a box that says "Financial Aid Requirements." Here, your student will be able to see if we've received the CSS PROFILE or FAFSA, or if there are any outstanding documents that must be submitted.
Each item listed will have either a green check mark, a clock, or a red flag next to it.
A red flag means we are missing an item to complete your student's financial aid package.
A clock means we have received the document, but are still reviewing it. There is no further action needed, however.
A green check mark means that requirement has been received and processed.
Be sure to have your student periodically review his or her financial aid requirements so you don't miss an important step in the application process.
A small number of students will be selected for a process called verification. If a student is selected, we must verify that the information submitted on the financial aid application is correct, which means we'll need to collect additional documentation before we can create an award package. If we need anything, we'll notify students via email. So make sure your student reads (and follows up on) anything he or she receives from us!
