University of Denver Financial Aid
Financial Aid 101: Checking the Status of
Your Application

If you've already applied for financial aid, you can check the status of your application by following the steps below. Haven't applied yet? Be sure to get your FAFSA and CSS PROFILE submitted by the February 15th deadline!

Has DU received my FAFSA?
If you've already been admitted to DU:
Log into webCentral.du.edu and go to the Admitted Students tab. Review the "Financial Aid Requirements" box in the middle of the page. If there is a green check mark next to the FAFSA requirement, we've received it!

If you're still waiting for your admission decision:
Log into www.FAFSA.gov and click on "View Processed Information." Scroll to the bottom of your Student Aid Report and make sure that the University of Denver is listed under "School Name." If you see it there, we've received it!

Has DU received my CSS PROFILE?
If you've already been admitted to DU:
Log into webCentral.du.edu and go to the Admitted Students tab. If there is a green check mark next to the CSS PROFILE requirement, we've received it!

If you're still waiting for your admission decision:
Go to profileonline.collegeboard.org and click on the blue "Apply now" button. After logging in, click on "Check Status of Application" in the top left corner of the page. If you see "University of Denver" listed under "College or Program," we've received it!

What's the status of my IDOC packet?
To check the status of your IDOC packet, go to https://idoc.collegeboard.org and click on the "IDOC" button. After signing in, click on the "Check Status" link. Here, you can see when College Board received your documents. Verify that "University of Denver" is listed under "Name of College or Program" to ensure we receive your IDOC information.

Anything else?
A small number of students will be selected for a process called "verification." If you are selected, we must verify that the information you submitted on your financial aid application is true and correct, which means we'll need to collect additional documentation from you before we can create your award package. We'll start notifying students who have been selected for verification in late-February via email. Be sure to read and follow up on any emails you receive from us!

My applications and documents have been submitted. Now what?
Sit back and relax! If we have everything we need from you, you can expect to receive your financial aid award package in mid-to-late March. But if you have any questions in the mean time, don't hesitate to contact us!

Up next week: IRS Data Retrieval and Federal Verification
