spring 2012 Financial Aid Newsletter
Wondering when you'll receive your financial aid award for the 2012-13 school year? Have you already applied? Do we have all of the requested documentation?
If you haven't applied for financial aid for 2012-13 yet, it's not too late! Although the priority application deadline of March 15th has passed, you should still apply as soon as possible by completing the FAFSA.
Be sure to also submit any additional documentation we've requested. You can view your financial aid requirements by logging into webCentral. Just click on the Student tab and review the "Financial Aid Requirements" box. Anything with a red flag next to it is still outstanding and must be submitted before we can offer you financial aid for 2012-13.
We will start sending award offer emails to current students who have completed all application requirements in late May. These emails will be sent to your preferred address. Verify that you have the correct email address on file by going to the Student tab of webCentral and clicking on "Set Your Preferred Email Address."
As always, please call us at 303.871.4020 or email us at email@example.com if you have any questions about your award or the status of your application.

If you will be studying abroad on a non-DU program, you will need to complete a consortium agreement in order to receive financial aid. Once this agreement is processed, your aid will disburse to your student account according to DU's disbursement schedule. Funds cannot disburse early to fit with your host school's start dates, and you will be responsible for paying the charges at your host school once a refund has been generated. Contact our office if you have questions.
