The capacity at Fisher Early Learning Center allows us to take up to 25 children each evening. Our evenings have been a huge success! We are hoping that this prosperity will lead to continual donation-based funding and more volunteers.
Given the growth of Night Owls and the physical limitations of our building, we are currently operating on a wait-list. New families will be notified when they have been removed from the wait-list and will begin receiving invitations to events.
How do I register my children?
New families can register their children with special needs who are 12 years and younger and their siblings who are 12 years and younger by completing, signing and returning the following to us:
- Child Registration Form for EACH child.
- Acknowledgement of Risk/Name and Likeness Release for EACH child.
- Health and Special Procedure Questionnaire for children who are taking medications or require the nurse's attention.
- Medication Administration Form (Please note this form requires a signature from a licensed health care provider.)
All children who participate MUST be registered at least four weeks prior to their first evening. Registration enables the Night Owls team to prepare for and care for your children according to their needs in the best way possible.
Please note within the Child Registration form, you can agree to participate in the evaluation of this program. We hope and encourage all families (and volunteers) to participate as this will serve as the beginning of research that will be used to establish Night Owls as a permanent program as well as inform standards for respite care for families with children with special needs.
Once complete please make sure to sign and date each form and return them to:
