linkages, and initiatives in the global arena for the University
of Denver. This office projects the University of Denver's
tradition of excellence in higher education throughout the
world. The Office of Global Development maintains liaisons
with several international organizations by interfacing with
international communities and the diplomatic corps in the
Rocky Mountain region. It develops many of the University
of Denver's global initiatives including the highly acclaimed

current and future business and government leaders for ventures
with the United States.
These programs offer international governments, businesses
and individuals an open door to the University of Denver's
educational resources. As a division of the University's Office
of the Provost, the Office of Global Development works with
other University departments, with government and with industry
to provide state-of-the-art programs that address a host of
issues, including economic development, education, the environment,
technology, public health and leadership development.
Whether working in Asia or Eastern Europe, whether tailoring
programs for education or corporations, the focus of the Office
of Global Development rests on a fundamental objective, namely
to build bridges of transnational understanding. This principle,
in these times of world tension,is critical to the well-being
and future of the modern world."
