Programs in China

STUDY IN CHINA

The Beijing Institute of Asian Studies is a study abroad program that has been designated as a site for DU's Cherrington International Scholars Program. It is a unique program that combines Chinese language courses with the study of Chinese politics, economics, foreign policy, culture and society taught in English by top Chinese professors trained in the U.S. The program also has a record of finding internships for students while studying in Beijing with a strong component of travel all over China including Tibet. In the Fall of 2007, we had 10 DU undergraduates from the Cherrington International Scholars program and 1 GSIS graduate student the following semester on the program. It is Prof. Zhao's personal view, that this is the best study abroad program available in China and he strongly recommends it to any DU students who plan to study in China.

More Information/Brochures are available in the China Center. Please visit the program's website at http://www.studyabroad-china.net/
