The CORD-Mail Mailing List

The purpose of the CORD News list-serv is to share information
among partner institutions and other individuals and institutions who are
interested in CORD and its work. The list-serv is open to anyone who wants to
join. Postings to the list will be moderated, but anyone who has subscribed to
the list may submit a posting.
The list-serv is designed to share the following kinds of
information and news with its subscribers:
-
Information about CORD events, activities, and projects
-
Information about new human rights publications (including books, reports, new internet-based sources, etc.)
-
Information about upcoming conferences, symposia, speeches, and other
gatherings
-
Queries about human rights activities directed at other
users of the list-serv (e.g., where to find information, questions about
current research or advocacy, etc.)
Given the mission of CORD, its resource constraints, and our
desire to limit over-use or "flooding" of this medium, postings
of the following nature will NOT be sent to the list-serv:
-
Petitions, "action alerts" or other time-sensitive news postings
-
Opinion pieces or manifestoes
