The Master of Global Studies is designed for junior diplomats, military officers, pre-collegiate teachers, and other mid-career professionals who seek a highly flexible program tailored to their special needs and interests in the general field of international studies.

In close consultation with a faculty advisor, each student designs a personalized program that will focus on one or two fields, concentrations, or issue specializations. In designing their program, students are encouraged to examine the existing programs of study for models that can be customized to suit their particular career goals.
