ISIME originated in the prestigious Graduate School of International Studies at the University of Denver, a program rated among the best in the world. Expansion plans include the opening of ISIME branches on campuses across the country beginning with the University of Colorado in Boulder. ISIME is a respected resource for scholarship and information, often providing analysis for students, the community, and the media.

Collaborating with Non Governmental Organizations and other academic institutions, ISIME initiates and promotes projects that are improving the lives of people living in the Middle East.
