Use this checklist to make sure you are submitting a complete MASPP application correctly. deadline. The following documents will complete your application. Remember, you will be submitting part of your application online, and providing us supplemental materials to complete your application by mail.

MASPP Application and Supplement Document Checklist

  • Complete and submit the online application. Click on 'Apply for Admission'. (The University of Denver major is Sport Psychology, the Major Code is CPSY, the concentration code is SPP, the degree is MA.)
  • Please use the following to guide your personal statement. Please limit your response to 1500 words. Describe why you are interested in sport psychology, an influential experience that you feel relates to your desire to study sport psychology and how this experience has shaped your current interests, and how you anticipate this training informing your career. (Please do not list your credentials in your response. You may list your credentials in your resume.)
  • Pay your $60.00 application fee online via credit card, or include a check or money order in US funds made out to the University of Denver with your supplemental materials.
  • Submit your supplemental application.
  • Submit your official GRE general exam scores. The GRE General Battery is required for the MASPP program. If you have taken the GRE recently (within the last five (5) years) submit your scores to the University of Denver – School Code: 4842, Clinical Psychology code: 2001.
  • Collect your three (3) letters of recommendation with your referee’s signature across the envelope flap.
  • Collect two (2) copies of ALL your official transcript(s) and either enclose the sealed envelopes in your application packet, or have them sent directly to the address above.
