Student Loans
Federal Direct Loans/Stafford Loans: These loans are the primary source of student aid, and students must take at least 4 credit hours per quarter to be eligible. The maximum annual loan limit is $20,500, of which $8,500 may be subsidized (interest-free while the student is enrolled). The majority of GSSW students qualify for most, if not all, of the maximum amount.
Federal Carl Perkins Loan: GSSW students must take at least 12 credit hours per quarter to be eligible for these loans, which range from $1,500 to $6,000 per year.
