The Institute for Women and Gender

Mexican American Studies Resources at the University of Arizona

National Women's Studies Association

NWSA's mission is to further the development of Women's Studies throughout the world at every educational level and in every setting. To this end, we are committed to being a forum fostering dialogue and collective action among women who are dedicated to feminist education and change.  

National Women's Studies Association Journal

NWSA Journal, an official publication of the National Women's Studies Association, publishes the most up-to-date interdisciplinary, multi-cultural feminist scholarship linking feminist theory with teaching and activism.  In addition to essays focusing on feminist scholarship and reviews of books, teaching materials and films, the journal regularly includes such features as "On Learning and Teaching," "Forum," "Report," and "Biographical Portraits."  It is published three times a year.  

Signs:  Journal of Women in Culture and Society

Signs is recognized as the leading international journal in women's studies. Signs publishes articles from a wide range of disciplines in a variety of voices—articles engaging gender, race, culture, class, sexuality, and / or nation. The focus of essays ranges from cross-disciplinary theorizing and methodologies to specific disciplinary issues, framed to enter conversations of interest across disciplines.

Women and Performance:  A Journal of Feminist Theory 

Women & Performance is a bi-annual publication featuring essays, scripts, interviews and articles on performance from interdisciplinary feminist perspectives. We encourage dialogue between varied fields of performance scholarship (ethnography, dance and theatre history & criticism, performance studies, cinema studies, cultural studies), and explore emerging feminist critiques of race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, technology and nation.

Women's Studies Quarterly

A women's studies archive from the University of Maryland at Baltimore. Rated one of the best sites on the Net for women's studies, it provides access to national and international women's studies graduate programs, as well as to other WSTU departments' undergraduate curriculum. Includes Women-related Email Lists and WMST-L (Women's Studies electronic bulletin board). Bookmark it and visit often!
