all kinds of stuff here--BDSM, homosexuality, bisexuality, polyamory, sex
and health, transgender issues, etc. Gay
and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation GLAAD is dedicated to promoting and ensuring fair, accurate, and inclusive representation of individuals and events in all media as a means of eliminating homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation. Gay.com connects the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. The Gay.com Network includes Global, Argentina, Brasil, France, Latino, Mexico, Spain and UK. They
have everything on this site—it’s kind of a catch-all gay site. GayHealth.com is the first health and wellness site dedicated to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender men and women. Gaywire
is a great place to get all the news and current events related to queer
issues. GenderPAC is the national organization working to end discrimination and violence caused by gender stereotypes. HRC is a bipartisan organization that works to advance equality based on sexual orientation and gender expression and identity, to ensure that gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Americans can be open, honest and safe at home, at work and in the community. International
Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission IGLHRC's mission is to protect and advance the human rights of all people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity or HIV status. Intersex
Society of North America Intersex
Society of North America is devoted to systemic change to end shame,
secrecy and unwanted genital surgeries for people born with atypical
reproductive anatomies. Lambda
Legal Defense and Education Fund LLDEF is a
national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil
rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, the transgendered, and people with
HIV or AIDS through impact litigation, education, and public policy work. Lesbian.org promotes lesbian visibility on the internet. This is basically a lesbian links page. There’s some good stuff, but it’s definitely a limited list. This site is for lesbians with cancer. It has a great links page. National
Gay and Lesbian Task Force NGLTF
is the national progressive organization working for the civil rights of
gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered people, with the vision and
commitment to building a powerful political movement.
We're building a social justice movement that unites ideas with
action. We organize activists. We train leaders. We equip organizers. We
mobilize voters. We build coalitions. We teach-and learn from-today's
vibrant GLBT youth movement. OutProud
is the National Coalition for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender
youth. We serve the needs of
these young men and women by providing advocacy, information, resources
and support. Our goal is to help queer youth become happy, successful,
confident and vital gay, lesbian and bisexual adults. Parents,
Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. PFLAG promotes the health and well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered persons, their families and friends through: support, to cope with an adverse society; education, to enlighten an ill-informed public; and advocacy, to end discrimination and to secure equal civil rights.
Stop the Hate was created by students for students and youth
in high schools, colleges and communities as a call for
action. It has evolved as a leading voice for youth on the internet
on hate and harassment. It offers extensive resources for students,
educators, law enforcement and community members. |
