Curriculum

Students representing all majors—arts and humanities, business, natural sciences, mathematics, engineering, computer science, social sciences, and creative and performing arts—participate in the four-year Honors program.  They take at least a quarter of their University and major requirements in specially designed Honors courses.  These courses may be found at Course Offerings.

2007-8 is a transition year for the Honors Program curriculum as we move to the revised program that will be in place in Fall 2008.  Details of the 2008-9 program and its curriculum will be outlined on this web-site by early Spring 2008, if not before.  For 2007-8, the curriculum remains substantially as it has in previous years.  All students should refer to the Honors Graduation Requirements page for a summary of requirements for completion of the University Honors Program.

Entering Honors students should note that they are still required for 2007-2008 to take 20-24 credits in courses specially designated to fulfill University Requirements. Entering students are also reminded that a series of First Year Seminars, also listed on the Course Offerings page are recommended for Honors students.
