Honors Opportunities at DU

Extreme Academics Fall Schedule

For each of these events, please feel free to come in late or leave early if you must, and please RSVP in advance to kaitlin.bruce@du.edu so that we can be sure to have food and materials for everyone.

  • October 2, 12:00-2:00 in Craig Hall Community Room:  "Introducing Extreme Academics:  What It Is, and Why"
    Shawn Alfrey, Danny McIntosh, and Carol Helstosky

  • October 9, 12:30-2:00 in Craig Hall Community Room:  Student Panel
    Hear from and share conversation with three current and former DU students about Scholarship and Fellowship awards and what theirs have done for them.
  • October 16, 12:00-2:00 in Craig Hall Community Room:  Opportunities Fair
    Come visit representatives from Study Abroad, CCESL, URC as well as current students who have crafted their own valuable academic experiences.

  • October 30, 12:00-2:00 in Driscoll Gallery:  Small Group and Individual Meetings
      - CHANGE OF TIME VENUE - MARY REED 1, 12:30-1:30!
    with Carol Helstosky, Danny McIntosh and Shawn Alfrey on specific interests and how to pursue them.  The result should be a specific project plan to be presented and discussed at the next meeting.
