The Preisendanz-Schmid Scholarship was established by Donna M. Schmid (Psychology, ’78) in memory of her parents and grandparents.  The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial support (up to $2000) to undergraduate Honors Program students pursuing their senior thesis-project work.  The scholarship is awarded every spring and supports work done during the following year by students planning to graduate that spring.  Applicants must be in good academic standing and on track to meet all Honors Program requirements.  Preference is given to those who have unmet financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.  Recipients are selected annually on a competitive basis and are designated Schmid Scholars.  Preisendanz-Schmid Scholarship Application 2010
