Jmac

Johnson-McFarlane

Housing DU’s students for 50 years and counting

Johnson-McFarlane Hall, or J-Mac as it's more commonly known, is one option for our first-year students.

This three-story residence hall is located on the south side of campus. It's near the Boettcher Science Center and F. W. Olin Hall, which house most science classes and labs, Ben Cherrington Hall, where international studies classes are held, and the Newman Center for Performing Arts, which houses the music school.J-Mac provides a lawn area, commonly called J-Mac Beach, where students play Frisbee, catch some rays, and just hang out to people-watch.

Every bedroom in J-Mac accommodates two students, with furniture and closet space for each. Large bathrooms are shared by the residents of each floor.
