Nelson Hall

Nelson is a recently built, bright, airy building for sophomores. It provides much of the housing for sophomores in DU's living and learning communities (LLCs). There are several theme rooms throughout the building designed to support LLC meetings and activities. The apartments for juniors and seniors on the fifth floor include a kitchen.

Nelson's unique features include a central open-air courtyard, a grand dining hall, an outdoor dining patio and a tower that faces into the heart of campus.

Nelson suites consist of two to four bedrooms that share a bathroom and a common entry space. Many of the larger suites have a double vanity located outside the toilet/shower area. Most suites do not have kitchens, although each suite includes a mini refrigerator/freezer/microwave. Nelson offers thirteen deluxe suites on the fifth floor, which include a full kitchen, a living room, and two to four bedrooms.
