Get Involved
One of the hallmarks of your time at DU will be the close connections you make to your community, and it will all start in the residence halls. Once you move in, you can meet hundreds of students from all kinds of different backgrounds, and make new friends who'll start to seem like a second family.
Beyond making friends, there are literally hundreds of ways to get more actively involved at DU.
Join groups
With more than 100 student organizations on campus, you can find a club that matches your interests, whether you want to do service projects with a fraternity or sorority or hit the rivers with the kayak club.
One way to have a real impact on campus is joining the Residence Hall Association. This group of student leaders helps create the campus experience, from distributing care packages to giving input on building a new residence hall.
Find a job
Along with helping pay the bills, an on-campus job can give you hands-on experience. There are plenty of job opportunities in the residence halls for people who want to help other students.
Join one of our communities
Theme floors and Living and Learning Communities are a way for you to live and study with people who share your interests.
