Report Suspected Improper Activities

The University of Denver’s policy on Corporate Governance and Responsibility requires that “The University shall provide and publicize a confidential complaint mechanism for employees, students, vendors, and others to report concerns about accounting, internal control and auditing matters. The mechanism may include anonymous e-mail or voicemail communications with the Office of Institutional Compliance and Internal Audit. The director of the Office of Institutional Compliance and Internal Audit shall review all reported complaints with the director of Risk Management to determine whether any matter must be communicated with one or more of the University’s insurance carriers. The Audit Committee shall be responsible for reviewing the nature and disposition of reported matters.”

The following are two ways to anonymously report a suspected improper activity:

• Call the confidential hotline at (303) 871-7439 (Your message is left on an answering machine that is connected to an analog port that allows confidential tips to be left without registering the phone number from which the call was made).
