Studying abroad at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy for a year has been the highlight of my college career. I honestly learned more about life in those nine months than I have in the nine years prior to my experience abroad. It is not a trip — it is an opportunity to live in another culture and learn on a grass roots level exactly how cultures work. Above all, you will learn to open your mind to new ideas that would otherwise be incomprehensible, and teaches lifelong lessons that could never be taught inside the classroom.
