Major: International Business

As I move forward into my future studies at DU, I will take with me a new determination. I have learned a new element of self-motivation that will inspire me to work even harder as I pursue a degree in International Business. After studying in another country for a semester, I have really realized how much more of the world I wish to experience. I am further motivated to pursue the international side of my business degree, so that I may use the rest of my life to get to know the rest of the world's countries and cultures. I will take with me my newly acquired communication skills, which will allow me to professionally correspond with my colleagues and peers.

Being on my own for the last six months has also taught me to manage my personal budget. Because I have lived off a fixed budget during this time, I will better appreciate my income levels when I return to DU and enter the professional workforce. The friendships I made will be helpful to me not only on a personal level, but also on a professional networking level. Finally, the memories of my study abroad experience will last with me and be cherished forever.
