Each year the Office of International Education (OIE) holds a photo contest during the winter quarter. Contest winners will be announced at the Crimson & Gold Global Gala on Thursday, January 24th, and will receive prizes!

This contest has a long tradition and we receive impressive submissions every year. Because there are so many to choose from, even photos that are not award-winners receive a lot of attention. Many photos are displayed in the International House, on this website, and in the University's marketing materials.

Prizes will be awarded in five categories:

  • Cultural Interaction
  • DU Students Abroad
  • People
  • Places
  • Food/Flora/Fauna

We will also award prizes for the "Top Five Facebook Favorites." Watch our Facebook page for details.

Here's a tip for those of you thinking of entering the contest: make sure to snap lots of shots of you and your fellow DU students interacting with the locals from your host community!
