ISEP is the world's largest network of post-secondary institutions
cooperating to provide affordable international educational experiences
for a diverse student population.
ISEP has 260 members throughout the United States and 35 other countries.
More than 24,000 students have participated in ISEP programs.
ISEP members are institutions of higher education that are regionally
accredited (U.S. institutions) or recognized by their government or
ministry of education (non-U.S. institutions).
The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) was established
in 1979, under authority of the Fulbright-Hays Act.
ISEP participants register as regular students and participate in
the same activities as students at the host institution.
Except for language and civilization courses designed for international
students, the courses that ISEP participants take are the same as those
attended by local students
