  • ISEP is the world's largest network of post-secondary institutions cooperating to provide affordable international educational experiences for a diverse student population.
  • ISEP has 260 members throughout the United States and 35 other countries. More than 24,000 students have participated in ISEP programs.
  • ISEP members are institutions of higher education that are regionally accredited (U.S. institutions) or recognized by their government or ministry of education (non-U.S. institutions).
  • The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) was established in 1979, under authority of the Fulbright-Hays Act.
  • ISEP participants register as regular students and participate in the same activities as students at the host institution.
  • Except for language and civilization courses designed for international students, the courses that ISEP participants take are the same as those attended by local students
