Global Ambassadors at University of Denver is a
Campus organization that creates partnerships between international
students, scholars and spouses at DU and Denver community members
and organizations. The purpose of the program is to foster international
understanding, develop cross-cultural friendships, reach out to
the Denver community and support the DU international student population
and annual the Festival of Nations event.
Global Ambassadors are volunteers from the Denver
community united by the common belief that the world is a better
place when all people and their cultures are valued, honored and
celebrated. Under the auspices of the Office of Internationalization,
Global Ambassadors at DU connects DU International students, scholars
and spouses with the Colorado community -- personally, socially,
and professionally. This is done through a variety of Ambassador
Programs.
Ambassador Programs build international relationships and partnerships
and extend to all of Colorado, the United States and the world.
Ambassador programs present opportunities for members of the Denver
community and DU international students to come together to learn
about other cultures and countries, and share a little of themselves.
