I grew up in Montana and graduated from the University of Montana with a degree in journalism. I also studied French and lived in France for one year. After I completed my degree, I joined the US Peace Corps as an education volunteer. I was placed in the Republic of Georgia where I lived and worked for two years teaching English to Georgian high school students. I learned a lot about education and was fortunate to be able to travel extensively. I returned to the United States in 2007 and moved to Monterey, California where I earned master’s degree in TESOL in 2010 from the Monterey Institute of International studies.
I joined the English Language Center faculty in 2010. I am happy to have found myself back in the Rocky Mountains and am looking forward to working with the international students at the University of Denver. When I’m not working, I love to go skiing, hiking, and camping. I also love running, swimming, and yoga.
