I
was raised in Denver, but I have had the opportunity to work in
other places. Before joining the ELC, I worked for a few years as
a Spanish instructor at the University of California, Berkeley.
After leaving California, I taught English in Cuenca, Ecuador at
the Centro de Estudios Interamericanos for a couple of years. When
I returned to the United States, I decided that I wanted to continue
working as an ESL/EFL instructor and entered the Master’s
program at CSU. While studying, I taught at CSU’s Intensive
English Program (IEP) and enjoyed teaching students from around
the world.
As an ELC faculty
member, I am again privileged to be with students of diverse cultures
and backgrounds. I feel lucky to have this opportunity and look
forward to working with all ELC students.
