After I graduated from college, I moved to Taiwan to study Chinese and teach English. While I was there, I discovered that I really enjoyed teaching and working with students. When I returned to the U.S., I directed an English language program in China before returning to graduate school to pursue my degree in teaching English. During graduate school, I taught in the IEP (Intensive English Program) at the Monterey Institute. After graduating, my husband and I relocated to Denver.
