Sheryl Meyer, Interim Assistant Director

  • B.A., Environmental Design, University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado
  • M.A., Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, Colorado State University, Fort Collins, Colorado

Greetings from Denver. I am a native of Colorado but I have lived in several other parts of the US including Texas and California. I also spent three years in Paris, France where I studied French and worked. Learning French and experiencing the French culture is a highlight of my life. I have traveled throughout most of Europe and I look forward to exploring other parts of the world in the future.

I have been teaching at the English Language Center at the University of Denver since the Spring of 2000. I enjoy teaching ESL because I truly enjoy getting to know the students as individuals including their cultural backgrounds, interests, desires for learning, and future goals. I enjoy languages and cultures so it is fascinating for me to learn from each of the students as we work together on their English skills.

I look forward to meeting you as a new student or seeing you again if you come back to visit as a former student.
