As a native of Denver Colorado, I grew up with an outdoor adventure spirit and a love of exploring the world. I enjoy hiking in the Colorado wilderness, traveling to new and exciting places, meeting people of different cultures, and of course teaching international students. I have taught almost all areas of English language learning from university academic programs to intensive English camps for young learners in four different countries to a wide array of different nationalities. I am also a student of language who has lived and studied abroad. These wonderful experiences learning and teaching languages as well as traveling and meeting extraordinary people have fueled my passion for teaching. My knowledge of students' needs has created an opportunity for me to excel in the English teaching profession as well as create a community of learners in order to lower anxiety and generate higher results. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution to any English teaching classroom.
