Winter Quarter 2008

Each quarter offers different opportunities for ELC students. This quarter featured 95 students from 23 countries.

The spring quarter highlights so far are the ELC's annual Lunar New Year celebration, and a special speaker, Buna Dahal.

Here are a few pictures from the events.

Our experts taught us about Lunar New Year   Koreans celebrate differently than the Chinese   We even had a power point presentationOur Asian students cooked for us. Everyone brought something to share  We played several different games.

This was involved sharp objects, so we just used sticks.  Kristen hopping around , playing another game  Everyone got into the spirit of the activities.

This game seems like it was the most popular.  After spinning in circles, who could get to the finish line the fastest?

The person riding on the back had to give directions.  Some times, it was harder than others.

Speaker Buna Dahal came to the ELC to talk about life as a blind international student and businesswoman.  Buna Dahal
