Accommodations
You should arrange for temporary or permanent housing before arriving in Denver if possible. The University of Denver offers a variety of on-campus housing options for undergraduate and graduate students. For information about on and off campus housing options for students, please visit the Housing section of our website.
Motels and Hotels
If you do not have permanent housing arranged when you arrive in Denver, you may need to stay in a motel or hotel for several days. The university does not currently offer short-term housing for students. The motels and hotels below are a sampling of those located near DU. When making a reservation, ask if the motel or hotel offers a DU student discount rate.

On-Campus Residence Halls and Apartments
All first-year and second-year undergraduate students are required to live on campus. This requirement is designed to promote academic success and help students develop lasting relationships with each other. For more information about on-campus housing options and deadlines, visit the Office of Housing and Residential Education website.
Apartment housing on campus may be available for third-year and fourth-year undergraduates, graduate students and families. However, these four buildings fill quickly.
Off-Campus Housing
Upperclassmen, graduate students, and students who are married or who have children may live off campus while studying at DU. University staff are unable to assist students in securing off campus housing. If you intend to live off campus, you should allow at least two weeks in your travel plans to search for housing before beginning classes. For more information about off-campus housing, please visit the Off-Campus Housing page of our website.
