International Student Orientation is an essential part of getting
settled and acclimated to Denver and the University. It is
also a requirement for all new and transfer international students.
When you come for orientation please be sure to bring all of
your immigration papers with you (i.e.
I-20/DS-2019, passport(s), I-94 and any immigration notices).
For the orientation
schedule of the upcoming quarter, please refer
to the link toward the bottom of this page.
Depending on your department, you may need to
attend two or three different orientations, some of which may also
be termed
"international student orientation." These departmental
orientations are in
most cases separate, and do not replace the mandatory
University-wide International Student Orientation.
Law School students follow
a separate calendar and should consult with their program coordinator
for specific information.
If you are a new or transfer student and
hold an immigration status OTHER than F-1 or J-1 please
go to the nonimmigrant check-in information
page.
As you make your preparations to come to the United
States, please review the pre-arrival
information webpage. This page contains valuable information
on how to get ready for your journey, what to bring and some of
the things to expect during your first during your first few days
in Denver.
