Orientation Programs

Orientation programs are an essential component of getting settled and adjusted to life in the United States and the climate at the University of Denver. For this reason orientation is a required part of your arrival and check-in at the University. As a supplement to orientation, the International Student and Scholar Handbook is available to assist you throughout your experience at DU.

For newly arrived international students there are orientation sessions at the beginning of each term. Students are required to check-in, that is provide copies of their immigration papers, and fill out several forms as well as attend an orientation session. Students will NOT be allowed to register until they have completed these requirements.

For newly arrived international scholars and staff, the requirements are slightly different. Employees are required to schedule an orientation session with an Advisor within 10 business days of their arrival in Denver. Call the International House to schedule an appointment.

We are delighted that you have decided to join us at the University of Denver and look forward to working with you to ensure that you have a productive and successful stay while you are here. Click on the appropriate link above for orientation programs appropriate to your needs.
