International Student Orientation
All new international students must attend the International Student Orientation hosted by International Student and Scholar Services. During orientation, international student advisors will discuss important topics such as immigration regulations and maintaining your status, campus resouces, and life at the University and in Denver. When making travel arrangements, make sure you will arrive early enough to attend orientation.
Please note: Undergraduate students must also attend the DU Discoveries Orientation for new students. Your academic college or department may have their own orientations for new students as well. You should receive letter and email communication about orientation requirements and scheduling as your start term approaches.
Registration Hold
If you do not attend orientation, a registration hold will be placed on your student account until you have met this requirement. Orientation is required to ensure you understand the regulations govering your immigration status and are aware of your responsibilities and reporting requirements as an international student.
Upcoming Orientation Schedule
Our office will email you information about orientation once you have been admitted to the University. Please notify our office if your email address has changed so you do not miss important information from us.
