International Student Orientation

International Student and Scholar Services hosts an orientation for new international students each quarter. During orientation, international student advisors and guest speakers will discuss a variety of topics to help you learn about maintaining your immigration status and being successful in your program.

Other Orientations

DU holds a Discoveries Orientation for new undergraduate students before the start of the term. Graduate students will be contacted by their department about any additional orientation activities before the start of the term.

Fall 2012 - Undergraduate International Student Orientation

All new undergraduate international students must attend the International Student Orientation, including students who previously studied at the English Language Center. Make sure you keep your orientation date in mind when making travel plans.

ISSS Immigration Check-In

All new international students including those transferring to DU from another U.S. university or from DU's English Language Center need to complete their immigration check-in by coming to the International House during normal walk-in hours to have their documents scanned.

Please review our Check-In web page for a list of what documents to bring with you. Not providing all of the required documents will delay the removal of the ISSS Provisional Registration Hold from your account.
