ISSS Services & Staff

 


The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) staff provides orientation for new international students and scholars, immigration advising, work authorization assistance, cross-cultural adjustment assistance, international programs and events, advocacy and general support. Our goal is to help our international guests to have an enjoyable and productive stay at the University and in Denver.


How to Get Information:

An ISSS Advisor is available during the above times on a walk-in basis (without an appointment), or by appointment (call 303-871-4912 to schedule an appointment).

The above hours are subject to change due to scheduled meetings and participation in international student and scholar related events. During the summer term, the advising walk-in schedule is generally 10-12pm and 1-3pm Monday - Friday.


Document Requests

Request for documents from ISSS can be made using the Document Request Form. Please note that processing takes 5-7 business days if all supporting information is accurate. Turn in requests at the front desk of I-House, 2200 S. Josephine St (southeast corner of Josephine and Warren).


Travel Clinics

Are you traveling internationally and expect to return to DU? Are all your immigration documents in order? Do you want to avoid unnecessary hassles at the U.S. Port of Entry? Get registered for the next term, then come to the travel clinic with your visa documents! You can get a travel signature immediately and get all of your visa documents checked by an ISSS advisor. Travel clinics offered once before Winter vacation and once before Summer vacation.
