DU’s International Living & Learning
Community (ILLC) offers a unique residential experience that unites
students from across the country and around the world.
Thirty-two first year students from diverse backgrounds
share meals and living space while exploring
current global issues and emerging concerns. An innovative blend of coursework,
community-based projects and fun, extracurricular activities brings
residents together and provides
exceptional opportunities for learning to take place.
Take a two-credit seminar with a cross-cultural focus each quarter of your first year. Study interesting topics such as international film, global social problems, international service learning, and working outside your geographic comfort zone. Use seminars for elective credits or apply them toward certain majors or minors.
When you join ILLC, you’ll become part of one of the most active groups on campus. You can make friends with people from different backgrounds, work with international organizations based at DU and leverage the resources of Denver’s thriving business and research communities to help identify, propose and complete projects that match your interests and values.
