Graduate Program in Public Policy
The Good Society - MPP Student Group

The Good Society is the organization for students in the Graduate Program in Public Policy working toward the Master of Public Policy (MPP). Its mission is to invigorate interest, pride and enjoyment in discussing the issues that greatly impact us as individuals, cultures, societies, and as a planet.

The group meets once a month during the academic year in Mary Reed's Renaissance Room to discuss the current political and social climate.

The goal of The Good Society is to provide an atmosphere and forum that brings a dynamic and diverse collection of perspectives, interests, skills, and ideologies together in working to truly understand our current climate, and envision and advocate a better society.

Past topics include "What should the next generation of leaders in our society expect to achieve," "Intervention: Nation-Building," "Globalization and Income Distribution," and "Spin and other types of political misinformation."
