The 8th annual ISSA Conference was successfully held in Tampa, FL!

Welcome to ISSA

The International Studies Schools Association (ISSA) is a national network of K-12 schools dedicated to improving students’ understanding of the world.  The ISSA is administered by the Center for Teaching International Relations (CTIR) at the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies.

Our membership includes a wide variety of schools, whose curricula and programs reflect the rich diversity of primary and secondary education. Our members include urban magnet schools, charter schools, rural schools, parochial schools, and independent schools.

ISSA schools are located across the United States and Mexico.  Membership also includes private organizations that share the desire to prepare today's youth for the increasingly global surroundings.

Become a member of this fast-growing, dynamic network.
