Master of Arts Program in International Administration

The MA in International Administration is designed for students pursuing administrative careers in international settings. Students in the program gain insight into the human dimension of organizational life, study public finance and the policy-making process; acquire specific skills associated with managing nonprofit and public sector organizations, and develop their understanding of international affairs. The overall goal is to establish a foundation of management skills (people, programs or policies) required to become a leader in a nonprofit or public sector organization in an international context. Coursework is a balance of theory and practice, focusing on the fundamental principles applicable to management in the private, public and nonprofit sectors. The program provides students the opportunity to gain expertise in a specific policy area such as human rights, development, security or global health.

I was attracted to the Administration program because of its focus on practical training in quantitative analysis and management skills and because of the freedom it allowed me in terms of selecting electives.
