- 2nd Year
- MA Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration
I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Western Michigan University and completed additional studies at the University of Waikato in New Zealand and the George Washington University in Washington D.C. Following my studies, I worked in the area of economic development where I began as a Researcher, then worked as the Director of Programs at a large, regional Chamber of Commerce. I also spent several years working in the public health sector. During that time, I took a year off to travel abroad, visiting each continent except Antarctica, and then spent another year working in India.
I choose to attend the Josef Korbel School after visiting numerous universities. My experience visiting and communicating with the School’s staff and faculty prior to admittance were always exceptional. Also, the Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration program and Global Health Certificate allow me to combine my interests in public health, economic development and South Asia.
At the Korbel School, I work in the Office of Student Affairs and the Dean’s Suite. I am on the board of the International Students Division of Korbel and am the Korbel Graduate Student Association 2014-2015 President.
I am delighted to be an Ambassador and welcome the opportunity share my knowledge of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies and the greater Denver area with prospective students.
