Meet the Office of Graduate Admissions

Gabriela DriessenGabriela Driessen

Gaby Driessen is a second-year student at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies studying International Development. Prior to the Josef Korbel School, she worked as a development manager for NPH USA, an international network of orphanages in Latin America, in their Chicago headquarters. She holds a BA from Boston College.

Gaby manages the social media presence of the Josef Korbel School of International Studies Admissions Office and helps prospective students with the application process. When she is not in the office or class, she can be found exploring the mountains on foot or on skis.

Coleen HoganColeen Hogan

Coleen Hogan is a second-year student at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies studying International Development. Prior to the Josef Korbel School, she worked as a refugee resettlement case manager for World Relief. Last summer, Coleen interned at a NGO focused on rural agricultural development in Mali. She holds a BA in Political Science from Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington.

Coleen plans the events put on by the Josef Korbel School of International Studies Admissions Office and manages information sessions for prospective students. When she is not in the office, she can be found camping, hiking, and enjoying Denver's many happy hours and brunch spots.

Samantha McGinnisSamantha McGinnis

Samantha McGinnis is a first-year student at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies studying International Development. Prior to the Josef Korbel School, she worked on the communications team for a DC nonprofit called First Book that provides books and resources to schools in need. She holds a BA in International Studies from the University of North Carolina, Ashville.

Samantha plans the events put on by the Josef Korbel School of International Studies Admissions Office and responds to inquiries from prospective students. When she is not in the office or studying, she can be found hiking, perfecting her cooking skills, or exploring Denver's food scene.

Ellen RutherfordEllen Rutherford

Ellen Rutherford is a first-year student at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies studying International Security and Homeland Security. Prior to the Josef Korbel School, she worked as a financial analyst for a DC private equity firm. She holds a BA in Political Science and Communication Studies from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ellen is the office manager for the Josef Korbel School of International Studies Admissions Office and responds to inquiries from prospective students. When she is not in the office or studying, she can be found hiking and exploring Denver with her dog or baking.

Mary Kate CroninMary Kate Cronin

Mary Kate Cronin is a first-year student at the Josef Korbel School of International Studies studying International Development. She is part of the Peace Corp Masters International (PCMI) Program here at Korbel and studies public health and nutrition. She holds a BA in Political Science from Northwest Missouri State University.

Mary Kate manages the Student Ambassadors program for the Josef Korbel School of International Studies Admissions Office. When she is not in the office or class, she can be found baking and singing show tunes.
