Rae Ann Bories-Easley
Director

Rae Ann Bories-Easley joined the Office of Career and Professional Development in July, 2010 as the Director. She most recently served as the Director of Outreach and Marketing at the American University Career Center in Washington, D.C. from 2000-2008 after managing the International Internships Program from 1997-2000. There, she worked closely with the faculty, students, staff and alumni from the School of International Service to develop relationships with employers in Washington, New York and abroad and to advise students on career planning. Prior to her work in Washington, Rae Ann served as the Assistant Resident Dean of Eleanor Roosevelt College at the University of California, San Diego where she managed the International House and as the Manager of Family Student Housing at Colorado State University. She has studied and worked in Germany and Spain and is the recipient of a Fulbright scholarship for Higher Education Administrators and a Bosch Fellowship to Germany. Rae Ann holds an M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University and a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego.

Melissa Martin
Associate Director, Internship Program

Melissa Martin, before joining the Office of Career and Professional Development in September, 2010 as the Associate Director, served as Director of Career Services and Alumni Relations at the University of Washington's Jackson School of International Studies. There she was responsible for providing comprehensive career services to more than 850 international studies undergraduate majors and graduate students, as well as program alumni. Prior to the University of Washington, she worked for four years as a high school administrator and five years managing volunteer and internship programs at Seattle Habitat for Humanity and Experience Music Project. She has taught, volunteered, and studied in both Ecuador and Bolivia. Ms. Martin holds an MEd in Student Development Administration from Seattle University and a BS in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.

Mira Morton Luna
Associate Director, Employer and Career Development

Mira Morton Luna has worked for the Office of Career and Professional Development since June 2006 where she has engaged employers with the school and managed student career planning. Mira has a background in nonprofits, private sector and government consulting. She served as a program director for the Colorado American Diabetes Association and moved on to consult with the Centers for Disease Control and the National American Diabetes Association on outreach to high-risk, diverse populations. From there she worked in the pharmaceutical industry as a Hospital Sales Manager in Albuquerque, NM and El Paso, Texas and then as the executive director for a community-based nonprofit where she consulted with foundations reviewing grant funding requests and evaluating diversity outreach strategies. She has an MA in International & Intercultural Communications from the University of Denver (a joint degree between the then School of Communications and the Josef Korbel School of International Studies) and an MA in Communications from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, OR.

Diane Witonsky
Assistant Director

Diane Witonsky has worked in the Office of Career and Professional Development since 2008, most currently in the role of Assistant Director. Prior to Josef Korbel, Diane worked as the head of the Human Resources Department, internationally at Quark, Inc. and for the Americas at J.D. Edwards. One of her responsibilities in these positions was to oversee their national and international recruitment efforts. Prior to her move into Human Resources, Diane worked several years as an attorney specializing in Employment, Corporate, and Immigration law. She holds a J.D. from Boston University and a B.S. in Business Administration and Psychology, with a concentration in Human Resources Management, from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Diane Fielding
Internship and Data Management Coordinator

Diane Fielding joined the Office of Career and Professional Development in July, 2012 as the Internship and Data Management Coordinator. She most recently served as a research associate for the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University, with a research focus on renewable energy policy in North Carolina. Diane holds an Master of Science in Natural Resources from NC State, where she served as a graduate research assistant focused on perceptions of forestry sector stakeholders regarding energy policy. She has a Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University. She brings with her a strong background in research, survey design/implementation, data management, and technology applications. She has conducted research abroad in Sweden, Chile, and Ecuador and is a community volunteer at several Denver-area nonprofit organizations.
